My name is Sharon Nunweek and I am the Practice Manager here at Ifield Medical Practice. I have been with the practice since February 2022 however come from a long NHS career history of the last 30 years.
My role at the practice is to ensure the smooth day to day running of the practice and to support both our patients and staff in delivery high quality care. My role is incredibly busy but I make sure I give lots of time to staff and patients alike.
I believe strongly in good patient care with lots of positive communication. I use my experience to create a well-organised, responsive, and supportive environment.
My team here at Ifield are one of our greatest assets and I’m dedicated to nurturing a positive and collaborative approach.
Supervisors
I am very lucky to be supported by three supervisors / line managers:
Kerry Hemsley is our Administration Supervisor and she manages the administration processes including the Medical Secretaries.
Sharon Burgar and Samantha Bliss are our Reception Supervisors and they lead their team with rota planning, ensuring the clinics are all booked onto the clinical system and supervisory duties to ensure all the work is covered.

There are a number of community matrons, district nurses, health visitors, midwives and a community psychiatric nurse who work with the practice providing care for our patients.
