Flu season 2023 will be underway at Ifield Medical Practice this September with our at risk patients being offered and administered their seasonal flu vaccine. 

Please contact our reception team to book this in once you receive your invitation after the 1st September.  We will also allow you a link to book a slot directly for flu at the practice.

We will offer Saturday clinics on the 23rd and 30th September.  Weekday appointments also available.  

 Eligibility this year is:

• Residents in a care home for older adult
• All adults aged 65 years and over
• Persons aged 6 months to 64 years in a clinical risk group, as laid out in the Immunisation Green Book, COVID-19 Chapter (Green Book)
• Frontline health and social care workers
• Persons aged 12 to 64 years who are household contacts (as defined in the Green Book) of people with immunosuppression
• Persons aged 16 to 64 years who are registered carers (as defined in the Green Book) and staff working in care homes for older adults.
