In addition to the above, there are some surgeries which commence at 8.30am. Please ask at reception for further details.

Extended Access Opening Hours

The Practice now offers extended hours at the Surgery as follows:

• Weekdays 6.30pm - 8.00pm (one evening per week the day of the week will vary, so please contact the Practice for more details)

All appointments are pre-bookable.  The Surgery will not be open for telephone calls and visits during these extended hours.

The out-of-hours service (Harmoni) is available during these times to cover all other services.

Out Of Surgery Hours Services

An emergency only service is provided by Harmoni. This is operated by a doctor on-call co-operative and the service is commissioned by West Sussex Primary Care Trust on behalf of the Practice. Harmoni can only provide advice or treatment for problems arising outside normal surgery hours.

The out-of-hours service operates:

• Monday to Friday 6.30pm to 8.00am
• Weekends - Friday 6.30pm to Monday 8.00am and Bank Holidays

NHS Direct

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

NHS Urgent Treatment Centre

There is an Urgent Treatment Centre at Crawley Hospital (Tel: (01293) 600300). Open 24 hours per day seven days per week.

NHS Walk-in Centres offer fast and convenient access to a range of NHS services, including health information, advice and treatment for a range of minor medical conditions and minor injuries (strains, sprains, cuts).

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
